Hello Fellow Aquascapers,
It is that time of the year again and we are very excited to announce the 2022 International Aquatic Gardeners Association Aquascaping Contest is officially open for submission of aquascape entries through September 10th. In spite of issues due to the Covid pandemic, our contest continues to grow and gain participation by aquascapers worldwide. In fact, the past two years have been record-setting years for our contest and we hoping that the trend continues for this year! I am excited to see what everyone comes up with and look forward to seeing the results near the end of the year!
As with past contests, all information including the rules and guidelines, entry forms, and other important information about the contest is provided right here! Just click on the Guidelines link at the top of the page. Most of the process is unchanged from last year. In particular, we continue to require a camera original to be supplied for each main photo as well. See photo guidelines. Do take note of the clarifications to the Wabi-Kusa category. You are still free to publish your photos anywhere you desire and the AGA will only use the photos for display as part of the contest results and other AGA-related promotions as in the past.
Each year, the contest committee sends out a request for volunteers to help with the workload. The quality of the contest depends on the level of participation from dedicated volunteers from around the world, and this year will be no exception. Of particular importance is finding some individuals to post information on websites, forums, and other social media sites both in the United States as well as internationally. If you are involved with an international forum or club, please consider helping out by posting announcements.
