The newest generation automatic feeder, from sera
Designers at sera say their X-Feeder sets new standards for automatic fish food dispensers. A large, 120-ml food supply provides the aquarium inhabitants with food regularly and reliably for a particularly long time, up to four different times a day if desired. Manual feeding is also possible at any time. The food amount dispensed can be adjusted over a range of ten steps. The automatic feeder is easily and conveniently filled from above. Disassembly is not required to add or replenish food. Filling the feeder is particularly easy and safe with the included paper funnel.
The food container seals after every feeding, a special highlight of the sera X-Feeder. The rubber seals protects the food against rising moisture. Splash protection prevents water from reaching the food from below, providing additional safety. The automatic feeder does not utilize any aeration, and is thus excellent for dispensing crushed flake food, as well as granule- and pellet-type feeds.
Besides the innovative moisture-proof system, the device also benefits from sophisticated technology that makes the automatic feeder function very quietly. Due to an extensive accessory pack, installation is possible both on open and closed aquariums with a food flap. The feeder is powered with two AA batteries, eliminating power cords and allowing for placement at any location.
Operation and programming are easy and intuitive via four keys and a clear display. The sera X-Feeder is thus excellently suited for all applications where dry foods are utilized, incluidng freshwater, marine, and reef aquariums.
